Why our Employees Love Working at Wings

I love working at Wings because I feel the majority of the employees genuinely follow our Vision and Mission statement. We are excited to offer great products and rates to our members. The Wings family strives to follow the Core Values in place. We work hard to go the extra mile and do the right thing for our membership. The employees have excellent benefits. The medical insurance, 401K, free gym membership and lunch on Wednesday are only a few of the perks as an employee.
Dawn K., Mortgage Closing
I love working at Wings because of the Servant Leadership culture. Not only do Wings’ employees ask our members “How can I help you?”, but Wings’ leaders also ask employees “How can I help you?” - every single day. Wings values employee satisfaction and works hard to continuously improve the employee experience. Wings knows that to have happy members, you first have to have happy employees. It’s like the important lesson of airline safety, putting on your own oxygen mask before helping others. Wings makes sure employees are happy and well supported so they can focus on serving our members.
LeAnn N., Data Solutions
The opportunities at Wings are endless! They can be challenging - in a good way and can help each of us aspire to something bigger, better than what we started out looking for! It’s an environment where we have opportunities to encourage and support each other, bring our ideas to the table and be heard, contributing to the overall purpose to help our members be successful, going beyond just transactional, sometimes it’s life changing! We are a team, focused, collaborative and driven to make a difference!

Community Involvement

As a member-owned and member-centered organization, Wings Financial Credit Union has a long-standing commitment to making a positive difference in the communities we serve. Those communities include the local areas where we operate, as well as the air transportation organizations we partner with. To benefit and strengthen these communities, Wings provides active volunteer efforts, free financial education, student scholarship programs and financial donations.

Wings Internship Cohort

Every summer, Wings brings together a diverse group of students to participate in our Internship Cohort Program. Each intern will work with their own department as well as participate in group activities and projects. Our interns develop leadership and collaboration skills, building relationships with each other, their mentors, and Wings employees. This experience culminates in a presentation to our Executive Leadership Team on a topic of importance to the organization. By the end of their time at Wings, our interns have gained experiences and contacts that will be instrumental in their future careers.

Wings offers internships in a variety of departments, including Accounting, Marketing, Human Resources, Business Development and more.

If you are interested in becoming a Wings intern, check our careers page in early-to-mid-January to view open positions!
