Rates effective as of November 20, 2024 and subject to change. Membership with a $5 Share Account required. Annual Percentage Yields disclosed assume quarterly compounding for amounts less than $100,000 and monthly compounding for amounts $100,000 and greater. New certificate deposits are limited each month. When new certificate deposit limit is reached each month, new certificate deposits will be discontinued until the beginning of the following month. $25 minimum opening balance. 112 Month Add-On – Allows unlimited deposits for the term of the certificate.
Common Questions about Certificates
Are there early withdrawal penalties for Certificates?
Yes, depending on the term length of your Certificate, the following penalties will apply:
- Term less than 24 months = Loss of amount equivalent to 6 months’ dividends (180 days)
- Term 24 months or greater = Loss of amount equivalent 2 years’ dividends (730 days)
Is my money safe?
Yes, credit union deposits are insured by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) per individual up to $250,000. The $250,000 in coverage applies to each share owner, per insured credit union, for each account ownership category. You can also use the NCUA’s Share Insurance Estimator to calculate insurance coverage.
