Ask me anything.
I generally recommend consolidating where possible, and there are a number of reasons why: to simplify by having a single company to work with versus several, to manage risk and reward better, and to potentially reduce fees.
Volatility has been increasing over the years and there are a number of factors contributing to this, but I will say it is here to stay. Knowing your options and diversifying your investment strategy is critical to success.
That is a very personal question and different for everyone, so I use a process to identify and monitor risk/reward levels.
Guided Wealth Portfolios is a centrally managed investment program sponsored by LPL Financial LLC (LPL). GWP generates investment recommendations based upon model portfolios constructed by LPL. If you are receiving advisory services in GWP from a separately registered investment advisor firm other than LPL, LPL is not an affiliate of such advisor. LPL investment advisors are registered with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, and LPL is also a Member FINRA/SIPC.
All investing involves risk including loss of principal.
No strategy assures success or protects against loss. There is no guarantee that a diversified portfolio will enhance overall returns or outperform a non-diversified portfolio. Diversification does not protect against market risk.
An investment in Exchange Traded Funds (ETF), structured as a mutual fund or unit investment trust, involves the risk of losing money and should be considered as part of an overall program, not a complete investment program. An investment in ETFs involves additional risks such as non-diversification, price volatility, competitive industry pressure, international political and economic developments, possible trading halts, and index tracking errors.
An annual small account fee is applied to accounts with less than $10,000 invested.

Your Credit Union (“Financial Institution”) provides referrals to financial professionals of LPL Financial LLC (“LPL”) pursuant to an agreement that allows LPL to pay the Financial Institution for these referrals. This creates an incentive for the Financial Institution to make these referrals, resulting in a conflict of interest. The Financial Institution is not a current client of LPL for advisory services.
