Wings Financial Advisors:
Wealth Advisor

Shane Irons

Meet Shane.

Shane Irons is a Wealth Advisor with LPL Financial.

I have over 20 years of experience and a broad knowledge in investments and insurance products. I became a financial advisor in 2010. My passion for financial advising comes from a desire to help people, get to know them, hear about their lives, and keep their best interests in mind. Wings Financial Advisors has provided an excellent opportunity to help the members in Eden Prairie, Chaska, and Savage.

I currently live in Eden Prairie with Sarah, my wife of 20 years, and our four children (J.J., Grayson, Tennyson, and Luna). They keep us busy exploring and experiencing the joys of life. We love to travel and enjoy spending time as a family. I enjoy working with Wings members, helping them get to (and through) retirement.

Ask me anything.

I am thinking of switching my assets to Wings Financial Advisors. Why should I?
I generally recommend consolidating where possible, and there are a number of reasons why: to simplify by having a single company to work with versus several, to manage risk and reward better, and to potentially reduce fees.
What is your approach to volatile markets?
Volatility has been increasing over the years and there are a number of factors contributing to this, but I will say it is here to stay. Knowing your options and diversifying your investment strategy is critical to success.
How much risk is right for me and my family?
That is a very personal question and different for everyone, so I use a process to identify and monitor risk/reward levels.
